Woo Hoo!
I ordered the fog light kit from Honda CR-V Accessories - Exterior Accessories - Genuine Factory Honda Accessories, made by Honda for your Honda. (http://www.handa-accessories.com/crvext07.html)
Currently on sale for $210 that is $185 cheaper than the local Honda places.
Since I was an avid Jeeper before the V, I am used to fixing things myself. I downloaded the video from DIYHonda.com Video Podcasts (http://www.diyhonda.com/)
Windows Link http://www.diyhonda.com/podcasts/episode57_crv_fog_lights.wmv
Installation was not bad all. Great instructions and video. I added the step below because I noticed they had the tire off in the video.
I recommend removing the drivers front tire. This took maybe 5 min. The jack plate is just in back of the door opening. I used a jack stand under the reinforced body mound inboard of that. Reason being is you need to reach up in there to grab the connector.
There is that point in the beginning when you rip the bumper of your brand new car that caused me some concern. Everything snapped back firm and aligned up like it did before I started. Harness even has the little clips that snap into the holes in the body mounts. I actually found the interior harder than the exterior. It took me 30 min to get the steering column apart. I didn't want to snap any plastic tabs or clips. The fact that I have large hands probably didn't help any.
Too lazy, old, cold to ride the scooter this morning so I drove the V to work at 0500. I must say without even aiming them the fogs make a dramatic difference around the vehicle nose area. They also light up a nice "V" to the outsides of the vehicle. I will try and snap some night pictures of them on and off I I get a chance.
Next up: 2008 Model Year OEM 453 Series Gentex Auto-Dimming Mirror with HomeLink® and Compass and hardwire a jack for my Garmin Nuvi at the same time.
