07~08 TL Flip Key works on 07+ CRV???

Who is manufacturer of the key?
If it's Strattec or Huf I might be able to get you some answers (I work with their engineers on occasions)

OK, I'm ignorant. What is and/or what are the features of flip keys?

it just folds or retracts for more compact and elegant look

I bet you can ask a acura/honda dealer....would be pretty cool but I can imagine the cost on a blank tl key would be $$$$

Guys are on the EOC have been doing this for a while. The keys can be found on fleabay. I don't if it has been done on a CRV yet.

okay guys, after several weeks searching, I finally got a 09 TSX key, and it works for our 07+ CRV

Just got it cut and programed this morning.

What is the process for programming the remote. I tried the process used for the TSX but it did not work.

i am really interested in having a couple of flip keys programmed, but i'm having difficulty trying to find someone to do it. i've talked to 3 honda dealers in our area and they all say that their machines only fit the standard key and will not fit the acura key?

i asked a local acura dealer and they said that i could purchase the keys but that i would need to take it to a honda dealer to cut and program. can you tell me who you went to to have the work done for you? total cost? thank you.

Both Honda and Acura dealers can cut each others keys. I cut keys for my local Acura dealer all the time. I have even cut a few "flip keys" with no problem.

27 dollars for the TSX key, 8 dollars for the cover to convert it to an RDX key (removes the hood button) ebay or magauto.com (free shipping)

Depending on the dealer: 0-50 to have it cut, 0 to 100 to have it porgrammed.

So, i tried to program 2 keys, both turn the car on, but only one transmitter works.

Anyone else try with 2 keys instead of just one Acura switchblade key?

does not look like the OEM TL key (but similar), and the programming they refer to is for the remote unlock function, not the immobilizer...
