Dear all,

I recently bought a sandisk 6 in 1 pc-card (as indicated in the manual) in order to use it in the '08 Navi's audio system. I inserted the card in the slot till the eject button came out and the card could not go further in. So far everything was fine but then when i pressed "close' in order the Navi's door to close it did not close it will only make a "beep" and the door will stay open. When i removed the card then the door closed like normal.
I tried using another card this time a compact flash pc-card but i had exactly the same problem, with the card in the slot the door is not closing.
I also try to use a newer pc-card that supports SD HC but again the same problem.
I do not understand this because the card is fully inserted in the slot. What am i doing wrong? Can anyone please help?

Thank you

You have to have a memory card in the adapter before the door will close. I personally use a 2gig Memory Stick Pro Duo, but many have been successful with 2gig SD cards.

Thanks for your reply,
I put an SD card in the pc-card and the door closed (thanks), but the problems continue. When i put the sd-card (I tried already with 512kb and also 4gb) it gives me the message "media error", i am using the same pc-card in my computer so i do not understand why. I tried formating the card "FAT" but nothing, then i tried "FAT32" but still nothing, i always have the same message: "media error"
Then i tried a CF adaptor with a 2gb CF card. I added 4-5 mp3s just to see if it is working. This time i do not get the message "media error" but i have the message "no music"
I am really desperate, can please someone help? What do i do wrong?
Thanks

I had a similar issue using a cf card. It did however work when I used WMA format on the files. I'm sure others can help solve the MP3 issue.

I have had no problems using a 2GB SD card with my Dazzle 4 in 1 card adapter. The only thing I don't like about this PC card player is if there is a medley (like on side 2 of "Abbey Road") there is the smallest of gaps between the songs.
Extremely short but noticeable.
