That's a real eye-opener...

Still, repairs charged-but-not-done are a long-time problem in the industry. Years ago, we would mark parts like Ch 4 did to assure the work was done. Often it wasn't.


That's why many of us have learned to do our own simple repairs.


Worse, many dealers stiff the manufacturers on warranty repairs!

i can't stand jiffy lube. i'm never going there again after I took a car there that was perfectly fine and then as soon as I leave I had brake problems.

I would never take my car to Jiffy lube (I Used to work at a quicklube so I know all the tactics). Then again I'm the type that will do my own oil change. I can use what I want and not have to worry what some schlub might do or is doing to my car.

If it's something I can replace I'll do it myself for tougher stuff I'll have someone help me or I'll take it to the Dealer or to a qualified Mechanic.
