Like the show for the most part, but they love to tweak Americans and that gets old after a while.

You can view a lot of their older stuff on YouTube as well.

I used to like Topgear... but I think it's just shameless slide into the mass entertainment market. When did you last hear something useful out of Topgear? Once typical feature (perhaps once called a car review?) is just some video of the ham fisted wallies hammering the car around an airfield, not a real racing track (and thankfully not on public roads) telling you how about the power, handling, grip... "Oh and the noise... “But now there just needs to be some kind of car connection and the boys set work trying to cause as much mayhem, chaos and damage as possible...

You remember the cheap car challenges? I loved the original ones but when the boys start smashing up a car in reasonable shape I think it's just a little wasteful and tasteless (but Caravan bashing is not wasteful and should be encouraged) And while that was all done in the name of sport and entertainment 5th Gear were also destroying a number of cars... mostly in the name of safety (but behind the scenes of a few car stunts were shown too)

About 5 years ago Topgear were given say the 'new' turbo-charged Lotus and all you was the same muck as above, some comments how it’s a lotus and British and then the Stig (Tame profession racing) driver took it around the airfield to do a power lap.

5th gear got the same press-car? And actually did a proper review on it outlined several faults (ergonomics are poor, and no limited slip differential means the car can not put the power down)

I'm not saying that I don't watch Topgear; I just think it's time for a little re-formatting particularly with the aim to remove Clarkson and maybe Hammond too.

Clarkson and hammond are top gear I agree there should be more car reviews and clarkson had an article on why they had a ton of challenges but if you want in depth car reviews and info watch 5th Gear, or Motor trend top gear is really entertaining, funny and features car its not a through and through review show and thats the way it should be honestly most car reviews are useless you have to drive the car yourself.

Top Gear is hands down the best automotive television program. Motorweek looks like it was put together by amatuers.

Top Gear drives cars like you wish you could if you had a place to do it... and keeps it entertaining. They also drive cars that you might never hear of, let alone have an opportunity to test drive. Motor Week drives them like your average driver drives - which can get pretty boring, but they also cover everything you would want to know if you were in the market for the car, and for 80% of the population, they are testing the cars that are going to be bought.

Recently got digital cable and have started watching this show. Jeremy Clarkson makes this show. Everything he does and says seems genuine, even the comic relief. I watch the show now just as much for him as I do for the car content.
