My sister has a 99 crv auto all wh drive, she has had it 6 months.
Got it from older couple who got it new and had all records, all work was done at dealer, ex condtion.
She looked at temp and said it was at 3 quarter while she was in traffic jam.
Later she checked cooland overflow and it was low, she added some, 2 times in 2 days while idleing for 3 minutes or more it did same thing.
Took it to trusted guy he checked it over and said when it got hi the fan came on just like it should and temp went down, is this common with crvs?

thank you

thank you Welcome to the forum! :)

No, that isn't "normal". The gauge should more or less stay steady. You may want to replace the thermostat. Use only the Honda one. Then, ensure that you "burp" your V to get rid of any air pockets.
