I have the service manual but I need to know which radio you have. Is your car an LX or EX?

A2 - brn - left rear(-)
A3 - grn - drivers door(-)
A7 - yel - front passenger's door(-)
A8 - orn - right rear(-)
A11 - gry - left rear(+)
A12 - lt grn - driver's door(+)
A15 - white - front passenger's door(+)
A16 - blu - right rear(+)
These color codes are for 2007-2008 models without navigation. If you are working with the connecter at the back of the radio make sure you pick the correct slot letter/number because there are 2 of certain colors. the slots are numbered starting with A1 in the upper left terminal side. Brown is A2 so you will see brown in the upper left corner if you are looking at it correctly. If you are splicing in near the speaker then don't worry about it.

Thanks for the info, I needed it myself. But I also need some additional help. Some AMPS like my Kicker require the remote line as well, any ideas on where to connect this?

The remote turn on lead can be spliced at the back of the radio its the bottom center-right pin (this is a smaller white cable, not the thicker white cable), it's labeled in the manual MICU ACC Radio. That is the stereo remote on.
hi,
can i ask for the jpg photo of the connector? so that i'll know the
A2 - brn - left rear(-)
A3 - grn - drivers door(-)
A7 - yel - front passenger's door(-)
A8 - orn - right rear(-)
A11 - gry - left rear(+)
A12 - lt grn - driver's door(+)
A15 - white - front passenger's door(+)

I didnt take pictures of the connector. Maybe someone else did. But with the description above, you should be able to figure it out. Make sure brown is in the upper left corner and match the colors with the numbers. Then splice in.
yup the above colors are correct, this was confirmed by my friend. but my problem now is i dont know how to remove the plastic covers to get the head unit.

i changed the headunit of my V coz i wasnt satisfied with the sound and also i needed the RCA pre outs for the amplifier and speakers i bought. I installed an Alpine CDA 9885 and it sounded great. you will need the "CRV harness adapter" to connect the wires easily. its all color coded. im not particular with the wires though coz, a friend of mine installed it. u can find the adapter in the net.

So I did everything properly here with my stock unit and hooking up my sub. Firt time I had it on, worked great. Now I am getting some sort of interference. Its just a straight humming noise coming from the sub. I can't have my deck off because thats all you hear.
Now, am I getting some sort of noise from the back of the unit? or is it because I ran the remote line same side as the rca's? (I couldn't remember if I had ran it like this on my old Golf, or had the remote and powerlines on same side)
Any suggetions would be great to fix this irritating problem.
Thanks Much
