I'll get the ball rolling....
I'm averaging 24 - 25 MPG (US gallons) in my 2006 CR-V since new. My driving is primarily suburban...a few stoplights but no heavy stop-and-go traffic. No extended highway trips either.
I keep an actual logbook of every fillup and average the readings about every 8 tanks.
My worst was 22.1 MPG last summer with the A/C working overtime. One of my best was just one tank ago, got 28.6 MPG (spring temperatures, very little A/C).
I carry ~400 pounds in the V at all times, the equivalent of two passengers....

I'm doing slightly better at about 26.5 mpg overall. I don't carry 400 lb of equipment (maybe 75 lb), however, and it's pretty rural up here. I spend most of my time on two lane country roads or dirt roads (live on a dirt road).:)

I forgot to mention, I drive like a MANIAC. :D
Congrats on your good mileage!
I know that folks who drive CR-Vs in NYC are lucky to get 18 MPG...:(

23-24 MPG normally thats primarily crowded highway I try to lock it down at 60 on cruise control ever since gas got so expensive but occasionally drive a tad faster when I am late. Still the worst I got on a normal tank was 18 mpg and that included 2 100+ mph runs and daily driving up to 90 MPH although mostly 80. The 23-24 Includes heavy use of A/C the best I have ever gotten was 26 locking it in at 80 mph on CC (I seriously didn't touch the throttle or brakes for 2.5 hours). Ever since changing the engine air filter I seem to have been getting superb mileage although I didn't fill up my tank myself so I don't know the actual # but I got over 300 miles to the tank without the light going off. I should mention I drive an 04 although I don't see that much of a difference between 04 and 06 in fuel economy factors i.e. weight, drag, or engine.

The 06 automatic has a 5 speed trans, the 04 a 4 speed.
Just filled again, 28.5 MPG this time, and I haven't checked my engine air filter in a year. (Waiting for pollen season to end here before changing it, pollen is at the peak....yuk.)

Good point about the gearbox I forgot Ohh well I figure 22-24 isn't too spendy I could have gotten a Pilot for about the same as the V but the pilot would have done 15 MPG and with regular around here at 4 bucks forget about it good thing I didn't go with a second hand Land Rover Discovery  which I actually thought about until I realized Land Rover reliability makes Alfa Romero's look like Honda and on road it's rubbish

average of 25 or 26 mpg with 50% highway driving.
while on vacation, towing 8ft tent trailer (dry weight 1200, gross weight 1500) full cargo area and a roof box filled with gear we averaged 17 mpg and were able to tow comfortably.
