Hi all,
I've just bought a 04 plate SE. Its our first ever CRV and we love it, such a cracking car and it came with brand new Honda alloys too! One little problem is the lack of a spare key and alarm fob.
I contacted the original owner but she confirmed it was lost 2 years ago. Local dealers (Aylesbury and Milton Keynes) have quoted me 100 pounds for the key (Immobilizer programming apparently) and 80 quid for the fob.
Does anyone know of an alternative to main dealer prices? I've seen a few fobs on E Bay but obviously if you buy one that isn't at your cars frequency you're going to have trouble.
I'm just outside Oxford so any information of a company nearby that could help would be great.
