I heard that story about a guy who was a partner with someone else on one of these Honda sites and..blah,blah, blah.
THIS IS A NEW SITE!

Please, if you have ANY doubts about the origins of this site visit the Element Owners Club site. Look around there about 15 minutes and you will start to glimpse what THIS site could become.:)

This site has not existed until now and it's being launched as a result of requests we are getting from many of our members on our other sites who like our format, content and style. Not sure what story you're talking about re: hacking, but we've never been involved in anything like that.

There has to be more folks with CR-V in Mid Atlantic. I hope this site becomes much more active in our region.

Honda 367, if you fill out the location field in your profile, we will know where you are from. It does make it helpful to have the location and vehicle info on your posts.

As far as Mid Atlantic members, I think we are fairly numerous--although not much for posting in the Mid Atlantic section. There are 3 of us from Western Pennsylvania, but Western PA just don't feel very mid Atlantic. Pittsburgh has always had a geographical image problem, we are not really an Eastern city, not quite a mid-Western city, a little too south to be a Great Lake city. The only thing that seems to apply is Rust Belt. Eastern Pennsylvania has several members.

Maryland has at least three very active members. The DC area has several active members. I have seen some posts referring to dealerships in Delaware and New Jersey.

One of the problems on this forum and possibly all forums (I try to limit my addiction to this one), is that we get a lot members who buy a V post 10 to 20 times and then you never hear from them again. I have enjoyed a lot of these folks posts, and then poof their gone. I guess the novelty of the V wears off.

One of the things I like about this forum is the international posts. We have members from UK, Europe, Australia, and Asia. It is interesting to read post from people beyond North America.

One of the great things that we have on this forum is quite a few members who have a great deal of knowledge about Hondas and the V.

Then you have one who blubbers alot but doesn't know much--I really should post less.

I did update my profile. I am waiting for my CR-V but until I pick it up so I will update it when I or my wife drive it home. :D

I am active on S2KI in Vintage Forum. We've got some fantastic folks in Vintage Forum in S2KI. As far as my knowledge, I probably belong to the the latter group of people who blubbers but doesn't know a whole lot. :D I better stop posting so much as I don't know a whole lot on CR-Vs. But I do get great information from this site and am very appreciative to those who patiently provide pertinent and relevant information. There are so many people with depth of knowledge here, it is fantastic. I truly hope this forum blossoms into a great web community.

By the way, my son goes to college in Grove City, PA. It is a long drive to take him to school and bring him back. I am looking forward to driving him in a new CR-V when he goes back to school in January. Again, thank you.

That is a very good college...good for your son. One thing to remember in Pennsylvania, we have had an apparrent concrete shortage that has lasted for at least 70 years. When getting on Interstates in Pennsylvania you will often be faced with sharply curved 20 foot accelleration ramps, we even have some with stop signs. The modest accelleration abilities of your V will be tested, bear that in mind. Several times I had rather frightening incidents with a rapidly increasing KCAM appearing in my mirror. Those bull dogs are not very cute when you got it floored and they are bearing down on you fast.

When I took my son to see a doctor in suburbs of Pittsburgh, I ran into that short ramp you speak of. That is the reason. I was stunned expecting merging lane to be adequate. What a shock that was! Now, I understand why this is. Thank you.
