View Full Version : Tint places in MD ?

Hey I am looking to get my front two windows tinted.. any advice as far as percentage? I want it to match the 2nd row of passenger windows. Also, where are some good places to get estimates? Thanks!!

Im not sure about tint places in Maryland but in Virginia there is a really good place called L.A. tint in Sterling. You can google it, they did the tint on my Cr-v last summer, and so far so good. They do a great job.

Brett- do not go to D&L tinting... they are nasty people to talk to when an employee breaks something in your car. Sure they have lots of new tech and are reasonably quick... but customer service is the lowest, all most thug like. I had two of my cars done at the same time there, and the tint was nice, but someone broke an interior pannel and they denied it and threated me with harm if i came back....hence the thug part.

I'm not sure about the laws in the States but in Canada you can only tint a percentage ,I don't remember what it is .The tint shops will tint it any amount as long as they get your money,I know a couple of people where the cops pulled them over and gave them tickets including my Son in his Acura.I would check with my local cop shop before I had it tinted.

All you have to do its tell the people at the tinting shop to put the darkest tint allowed in your state...thats what I did

I have a waiver for my tint in Va. I know a lot of people that own tint shops, to recommend to you, but they are in Va also.

don't know where u live in Maryland, but u can give my guy a call at Germantown ProTint on the corner of Germantown Road and Aircraft Drive. Convenient to 270, Rt. 355 and more.

This is what he did for me. NOTE: My driver side window was smashed in by thieves and Jose told me he would redo it for FREE. Hope this helps...
