SRS Light On

Hello!its my first time to post anything in this forum.I have a 2003 CR-V.Everything has been ok for the past 2 yrs that I have it except that last month the engine light came on and I had to change the O2 sensor.This week,the supplemental restraint system light came on.I am pissed right now coz everything is happening just after my warranty expired.Anyways,I checked the fuse for the SRS and it was ok.Manual says to bring it to the dealer asap.I'm a bit disappointed right now and even considering trading it with another vehicle/brand.Any suggestions will be appreciated.Thanks.

Instead of being "pissed", why don't you see if Honda will cover the SRS system under warranty. I believe the SRS lasts longer than 36k miles (and you didn't post your mileage) Even so, Honda does quite well at covering items past the official warranty expiration. Did you happen to see the odometer settlement that Honda just agreed to? It adds some extra warranty coverage miles to your warranty... In any event, CALL Honda Corporate and open a case.
