Spare tire bike rack?

I wanted to mount a spare tire bike carrier on my 03 V. I bought one bike rack, a Thule design, but did not like the way it hung on top of the rear window wiper preventing its use and possibly damgeing the wuper arm. Anyone know if a good carrier that actually fits without effecting the rear wiper?

Was it this Thule? This one looks like it might not contact the wiper area......but might cause you tire cover problems.

There is also the Yakima Spare Joe, which they claim fits a 2003 CRV.

3rd option: have a 1.5" receiver hitch installed and then get a receiver hitch rack.

I have supplied a few customers with the Thule 963. Its a good sturdy rack. The only thing you have to do to mount it is remove the spare tire first. Its is a bit of a pain but once it is on its not coming off. I highly recommend it.
