What tyres??

Old and tired question (pun intended) I know...

I've just picked up my first CR-V (05 Ex) and it currently has BFGoodrich Traction TA on the rears and Maxxis UA 603 on the front.
I've had a good look round the forum and am still not sure. I'll very rarely be going off road - maybe a field from time to time and don't plan to tow anything. So any advice appreciated, is the combination good,bad indifferent? I'm happy to replace the lot if you think the Maxxis are rubbish, the rears are fairly low anyway, the Maxxis look new though.

In the absence of any opinions on this, I'm gonna try those Goodyear Hydroedges.....

Goodriches are good - I've got General Grabber UHT's on just now, and the wear rate over the OEM Duellers is terrific! These tyres still generate a bit of road noise (just goes with the type of tyre I think) but road and off-road grip is much better, so well worth it. That's what the hi-fi volume control's for after all!
