I know most flat style Ski Racks work pretty good so if your a skier thats a good choice.
Not really sure if the Inno rack would work in the CR-V as well as a Forester. Back windows go awfully low and not sure the suction cups would would extend far enough. Also; they are not cheap. I would stay with a roof rack and find a way to rig up some tubes. If I needed to secure them; throw the tubes inside,. I also would not base a purchase of a vehicle on whether I could put a interior rack in the car. Yes I do fish; but theres always a way to make something work.

... I leave my fly rod assembled quite often and either put it above, in my Yakima Button Down 4 ski rack, or simply place it inside the V, laying the reel on the shelf behind and sticking the rod forward toward the windshield. Seems to work for a 9' rod length. :)

If you have a roof rack(cross bars) already, A piece of PVC pipe with a cap and a PVC to female pipe thread adapter and a screw in cap would work very nicely. Would keep them out of the elements, more specifically the wind. 6" Pvc would carry a few with reels on them, several more than that with the reels off. Just a thought, Dave
