I really want my CRV to be unique to me....I am trying to find ways to add a little personality (don't get me wrong, it has quite a bit!) I just want to stand out a little. I have already looked at what Honda has to offer and was wanting to find more (chrome rocker panels would ROCK).

Stainless rocker panels would be even better. They wouldn't rust.
How about blacking out the bottom portion of that ugly brightwork called the lower front grill? That would be my personal first thing to do.

How about matching the front/rear bumpers and side panels to the body's color (instead of black)?
I remember BMW dealerships used to do that to the X3s when they first came out.

One of the reasons we selected black paint..

Check out the chrome side steps (Honda Accessory) on joeeew's black V. Very cool! What is really cool is the side steps and no roof rack--makes it clean albeit very cool. The steps are really sharp on the Nighhawk Black Pearl with the contrast.

I almost went for the fog lights eventhough I would never use them. (I find the foglights from other cars blind me.) Honda's foglights are round (a big plus for ancients like myself that grew up with cars that had round head lights) and have a very simple sophisticated look.
So because I am spending your money and not mine go for the chrome side steps and the fog lights--but no roof rack. You will have a totally cool black V. (and significantly less money in your checking account especially if you have your dealer install this stuff--the instructions have a "not for the do it yourselfer" warning).
You may want to have a chat with joeeew and find out how oppressive the side steps are for getting in and out (you're not actually going to step on your cool looking side steps are you?) & what they do to ground clearance.

Seems as though the V's cool stuff will have to wait...in the process of buying a house so I will have to love my V as it is (and I do)....I do have a GREAT CRV/OC sticker on it though and not everyone has that.....;)
