We all have one. My "american" cars have a cubby. Now I have to clip an ugly remote on the visor. So "1980s".

built-in HomeLink would be even better.

Homelink would have been nice. We too have an ugly garage remote...my wife put it in one of the cubby holes in the console below the radio. Out of the way...easy access...and don't have to pull it out of the hole to use it.

Remove the clip and put a piece of velcro on it and attach it to the left of the steering wheel on the dash to the right of the mirror switch. It's a perfect empty spot for it.

I have mine in the lower dash pocket to the left of the steering wheel. Fairly accessible and no rattles since the pocket is lined with a felt type material.
