I'm going in an ongoing project with re-vamping the stock stereo system of my 02 to sound more like... well.. a concert. Anyway, I have an amplifier installed for the subwoofer, which is running fine, but it sucks all the sound out of the cab so it sounds like a lot of volume only comes from the trunk, and I know that's because of the 1000 watt sub compared to the 18 watt stoc ksystem. It gets drowned out at higher volumes. What I'm wondering is if anyone makes an amplifier that's NOT a 4 channel amp, and wired to individual speakers. What I want is something that connects in-line with the wiring harness and amplifies all the signals as close to the head unit as possible. please someone tell me if this exists and where I can get it.
