Just a few hours after I installed door molding we had a flash down pour, and now the tape is not sticking right.

Do you mean the ding protector side moulding or something else? The way I understood the side moulding to be, is that it stuck instantaneously and there was no removing it.

Yeah the ding protector molding on the doors. After the rain the end of the strip at the front door started to pop up a little and with water it barely sticks when I push it in. So now I am gonna have to redo it with 3m tape myself.
