A really cool way for you to find recall and TSB info for your specific vehicle is to go to Honda's web site and sign up for "Owner Link". (It's routinely advertised on that annoying banner ad up at the top that no one looks at) :)

A reminder for those of you lucky enough to have purchased a 1997 and have less than 150,000 miles on it... Go to your dealer and ask about the free super-extended 14 year emission warranty check which will also give you FREE spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, plug wires and FREE labor to install them.

Basically, Honda and the EPA had a little disagreement and 1997 owners get a cool benefit. You do not have to be the original owner either.

Hello, i'm new to the forum here, but I was looking over the TSB's and this is the only site that I found that had the full TSB's for the CR-V. But I have a few questions.

I was looking over the internet and found a list for the 2002 CR-V TSB and a few on there i am having problems with, but they aren't on the list above.

I found them at this website

http://www.carcomplaints.com/Honda/CR-V/2002/tsbs.shtml

And the ones I am curious on getting the TSB for is

TSB #5905 -- CUSTOMERS MAY COMPLAIN OF A TWANG NOISE FROM THE FRONT SUSPENSION THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SPRING CONTACT. *SLC (NHTSA ID #629541, FEBRUARY 14 2002)

TSB #1202 -- A MISADJUSTED OR FAULTY RIGHT FRONT MOTOR MOUNT RUBBER CAN MAKE A CREAKING, TICKING, SPOT WELD LIKE NOISE THAT APPEARS TO BE COMING FROM THE BASE OF THE PASSENGER'S SIDE A PILLAR. *TT (NHTSA ID #10002579, DECEMBER 16 2002)

Would it be possible to get the TSB's for these issues, I would really like to see the fix for them. I went to the dealer and inquired about them, but they have never heard of this before, I took them the # as well, but they said that's not a honda number. So any help would be appreciated, the ticking noise is driving me nuts.

Must be my canadian VIN but it does not accept it from my vehicle, and there was nothing on the website about TSB's. So my question above still remains, if somebody could get me the full TSB on the above issues that would be great. Thanks.

It won't take your VIN? Are you confusing a number for a letter or vice-versa?
Strange.

Nope, no confusion on numbers/letters, double checked it and tried it, even tried the different combinations of o and 0. But still the question remains, has anybody else seen the above TSB for there vehicles?

Has anybody seen this TSB before??? It's the same on the accord, or the '98 CR-V, i believe it's the same fix as well.

I have seen the motor mount TSB before. Apparently, some 2nd gen V's were built with the engine/tranny not properly lined up. To fix it, you simply loosen the motor mount and using a pry bar, push the engine back slightly and re-tighten the motor mount. This gives enough clearance to get rid of the thump noise.

A 98 V TSB won't apply to your 2002. They are drastically different vehicles. Even the engine/tranny is turned around and faces the opposite direction.

I am a newbie here. I am thinking about trading in my 2007 Camry XLE v6 for a 2007 CR-V EX-L. Before I do, I wanted to review any recalls and TSBs on the car. I signed up at the Honda's Owner Link site and entered the VIN of the V I am thinking about buying. It doesn't list any recalls. However, I don't see any TSBs either. I figured maybe I have to enter a VIN that I know has a TSB on it. So, I found a V that falls in the range of the Service Bulletin for the rear diff. moan or groan (VIN=JHLRE38587C010202). However, even then, the Service Bulletin is not showing up anywhere on the site. I can't find it even if I search for "moan". Can someone clue me in? Thanks!

greenteacrv, thanks! This is the one TSB that I am aware of. Do you know if there are any others on the 2007 CR-V AWD? Do you know of a site that lists all of them (even if there is a subscription fee)?

Thanks - unfortunately, I checked that site for my 2007 Tacoma and it is out of date. Last update was in March but there has been a few new TSBs on my Toyota since then. I emailed alldata and they said:

"Our 2006 and newer vehicle information has not been completed yet. We are continually adding information to our database and will release information for 2006 and newer vehicles in the future."

I don't know why it is so hard to find Honda Service Bulletins online (maybe they don't want the public to know about their 'dirty' laundry). TundraSolutions.com was one of the first web sites I was told about and it has all the Toyota TSBs (as far as can tell).

Service Bulletins are not published as public info for any manufacturer. They may become public due to web sites, etc. publishing them. They are intended for their dealerships technicians. Be careful in how you utilize a TSB. Sometimes, technicians are less than happy that you have the info and treat you poorly as a result.

I am trying to find the statement / document for TSB 03038 but have not had any luck.

I need to read thru it in order to be informed when I speak to Honda regarding a Goodwill Warranty to replace a cylinder head ($3500 repair).

What is the best way to locate this TSB?

Thans!
