Hi Folks,
I just recently subscribed to the Club and find it fascinating.
we have taken the keys to a brand new 2006 Executive spec, Alibaster Silver diesel Honda CR-V and we LOVE It!:D
It knocks the socks of our Freelander, why it took so long to try one out, don't know, but a good friend working at Hyndland Honda in Glasgow really opened our eyes.

I am the only newbie who has found it difficult to track down accessory lists and found a accessory brochure on the web, but can't track down the parts,
apparently Honda don't have rubber floor mats or dash tray mats?;)
Any ideas for accessories other than the usual culprits would welcomed.

PS Anybody in Scotland interested in setting up a Tartan CR-V section?

Welcome!

...and just keep on rubbing it in to me that you have a diesel and we here in the US don't... :(

I want a pair of them to replace my current 2 V's!

Welcome to the CRVOC! How does the Diesel drive? Decent mileage?

Red, since the Accord and Ridgeline will be getting a Diesel maybe Honda will offer the Diesel from the Accord in the CR-V and Element? We can hope, right? :)

Thnaks for the replies folks!
The deisel is grreat and shifts very well indeed!
I am averaging approx 42 MPG, but expect tgis to get better.
I tried to work out the Spec for members across the 'pond' and I think the 'Executive' model is similar to the 4WD Special Edition sold in the States.
During the last coupe of days the front heated seats have been fantatstic!
I am still interested in finding out from other members about how far have you been able to take your CRV off-road. I don't expect Land Rover Defender capabilities, but getting close to Land Rover Freelander terrain will do me!

Hello Shuttles,

I am keen to hear of your experiences with your CR-V - have you done any off road driving yet? I too am keen to try the vehicle on off-road terrain, nothing too difficult, but to see how the vehicle fares.

I would be very intersted to hear of your CR-V experiences, and if you have any pics of the vehicle used off road - please keep us posted!
