Fabric Protector

Hi folks!
I’m a new owner of an EX (love it) and plan to drive it ‘til it drops. Sooo, I understand about what to do to protect the finish on the outside but not as sure how to protect the fabric of the seats on the inside (always had used beaters before so have little experience with this).

Has anyone used any kind of fabric protector on their V? If so what did you use, did it work, and any suggestions for what I should get (or not!)?? I would like to go out and get some stuff today to apply it while the car is so new. I did not opt for the dealers offerings of rust and fabric protections before we got out the door, if you know what I mean :) .

I could not find anything about this in previous threads.

Look forward to your thoughts and experiences and thanks much

Don't know myself. My wife and I are empty nesters with no dogs, and neither of us tolerate perfumey cleaners, protectors, etc, so we use nothing.

Here is a thread about Scotch Gaurd:

Congratulations and good luck with your new V.

I'd go with Scotch-Guard as well...

I rented a steam cleaner for a grocery store. A huge mistake! It mostly just moved the dirt from the floor onto the seats but with a bit of elbow grease that came off an my car smelled like my grandmother for three days.
