Dear Owners with CR-V EX Trim

Hello All,

I am wondering if your the CR-V EX door handles and side mirrors housing has the same color as its body? For example: If your car is white, I am expecting to see the door handle is white as well instead of black. I went to a dealer last evening and I can't believe with my own eyes that even with EX version, the door handles and side mirrors housing are black color.

You need to go to the EX-L package to have mirrors and door handles that are not black but the same color as the vehicle.

Only the EX-L model have the painted side mirrors and door handles. That is one reason my brother bought a Nighthawk Blackpearl EX, you can't really tell the side mirrors and door handles are not painted.

Aw... our original choice was LX then wifey wants to go to EX model mainly because she wants everything the same color. Now let's hope she doesn't advice to go to EX-L... but then I remember a quote if mama ain't happy... nobody will be happy (she is pregnant now... due in a week).

Go ahead and splurge for the EX-L, with the prices available right now, you'd save a lot and not have regrets later! The EX-L comes with a lot more than just leather seats! I don't remember everything the EX-L has over the EX, but I was pretty surprised when I compared the list of option in the brochure. In my opinion, the EX-L is well worth the extra money, especially being as you could get an 08 EX-L for what the 09 LX's will be selling for next month!

Dual Zone climate control and the 8-way power driver's seat are definite plusses in the EX-L.

In your circumstance with a wee one on the way, though, I would point out that the leather seats are very durable and wipe down with a damp cloth. You may wish to keep that in mind! :D

Congrats on your baby first of all. I have an EX, and I personally like the black door handles and mirrors - I think it kinda breaks it up. We also didn't want leather, which is why we didn't get the EX-L, but that was our own personal decision. I love all CRV's! Good luck!

I went with the EX-L not because of the mirrors and door handles but rather the heated seats, dual zone auto climate control, built-in XM radio and the upgraded center console. Got a fairly good deal, so I felt better upgrading to the EX-L. "Mr. Opportunity" was good to me! :D
