I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of paint is used to recolor interior moulding? I have seen this done on the TV Show Unique Whips. Not sure if painting is the best alternative though. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, or better yet, know how this is done.

Go to a local to you auto paint store. Tell them what you want to do. They can not only give you the correct paint, but tell you what you have to do to prep it. Prep is key because it has probably had Armour-All or similar used on it at some point in its' life.

Krylon Fusion is fantastic for plastic interior panels.

You can use just about any paint of them as long as you prep the surface properly. If you look at my web gallery, the red pieces were painted with regular car paint. PPG Viper red with several different pearls thrown in.
