I spent my Saturday helping a friend in VA move. Hurricane Hanna decided to crash the party and long story short: lots of his stuff = wet, floodings closed roads, simple move became 7 hours. I got free lunch from my friend, though ;)

what part of VA? I live in Va so i was wondering. I saw a bit of flooding, but thats bad!

The top two pics are from Great Falls, VA. I used to live there and the floods/puddles we'd get from just mere thunderstorms were crazy... Well, crazy awesome to drive in (if safe). The bottom pic is further West on route 50 in Fairfax City. They kept shutting down parts of 50 (and other roads) due to flooding, so that was fun since we had planned to drive mainly on 50.

that sucks. I have lived from springfield/fairfax area all the way down to stafford. Mostly in woodbridge. Not to bad here on that, but it's all suburban, government people here, so it has to be nice for them :)

And to think We played a game in that mess. The field was 4 inches deep of mud. It was a slop fest.
