Hi All,
New here.We are shopping for a new vehicle right now and love the CR-V.
Does anyone know where these vehicles are manufactured? And if they turn out to be made in USA are they by union workers? I'm having an internal struggle here. I want to support the American worker but I also want a quality car. Thank you in advance.

Right now, all of the ones being sold in the US are coming from Japan. The new Ohio plant is making 2007 CR-V's but all of the production is currently going to Canada. Your local dealer may list VIN's of their in-stock vehicles on their web site.

To check, look at the 1st character (or number) in the VIN.

VIN Character 1 - Manufacturing Country Codes

1 or 4 USA
2 Canada
3 Mexico
J Japan
K Korea
S England
W Germany
Z Italy
