Just had my 2 front axles replaced because all my engine mounts were broken. Has anyone experienced this problem? This is a 2003 ex with 73000mi. :(

never. I'm doing my tourque mounts tomorrow. Which mounts were broken?

All three engine mounts have to be replaced.

haveing to rplace all three mounts for an 03! There sounds like there is a problem there.

Just spoke to the Mech. Its the transaxle thats going bad which means transmission rebuild in a few months. this CRV is burning a hole big time in my pocket:eek:

I think your mechanic is ripping you. See my other response to your "Dear Honda" post.

Again, I have a 2003 with 75K and not a SINGLE problem.

I recently moved my crv from VA to MD. During my registration/title/state inspection, the mechanic faile my v for a broken engine mount. It was only the left mount (near the timing belt), but cost me a pretty penny since I had to do it on the spot so I could get my car past inspection and moved to MD asap (was already pulled over by a cop for expired VA tags!).

Also, another post on this forum in regards to do-it-yourself valve timing shows a pic (i'll post mine this week) of a bad engine mount he discovered. I apologize if my memory is failing me.
