Just want to say up front that I'm new to this forum, but have been reading it for about a month now and you all are a wealth of knowledge on CR-V's. I'm amazed! I have had my 2008 CR-V (2nd, first was a 1999 gen 1) since this past christmas and have decided to install a hitch to pull my PopUp camper. It's 1300# dry and I'm in Florida (i.e. extremely flat) and think it will be a good match for our family. I just purchased a Valley Hitch from U-haul last week and spent about 30 minutes this afternoon installing it. I had an issue getting the thru-bolt on the top of the hitch through the loop under the bumper...........anybody have any experience with this and maybe a trick to help with the alignment?
