It would be really easy to check. The armrest cover unzips to expose the nut/bolt that attaches it to the seat frame. Maybe you could get a friendly dealer to help you out on that? If they use the same size attachment bolt/nut, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'll try to post pics of both years.

Here's a pic of the 06 EX AT seat:

Here is a pic of the 07 EX seat. They drew the pic differently and it kinda looks the same, but kinda looks different, too. I think taking one off and trying it would be the best bet.

Thak you so much!
I guess it does non fit. 06 has two bolts assembly (#9)
and 07 just one bolt (#7).

Actually, no. Number 9 is the bracket that bolts to the seat frame. There is only 1 bolt for the armrest itself. That's why I say the pic/drawing is "funny". It makes it look different than it really is. You won't have to be concerned about the mounting bracket to the seat frame.

Well- I guess the only way to find it out is to take it apart...
Thanx again. :)

Have you installed the 06 Storage Drivers Side Armrest to replace the crappy ones that are in the 07s or if there's any aftermarket armrests that might work, let me know...........

I love the car but the armrests have to go......

Cannot agree more...
This would have to wait until weather in MA gets warmer:)

Why wait? It's a couple minute job to remove the old armrest and put on the new one.

I don't want to spend $100+ to realize what it does not fit.

It may work. Here is the picture then armrest is out.
There is 45 mm between those two bolts.
I guess I am going to try...

2RedV's - Is there a way to know the measurements for mounting bolts for 06 Armrest?
Do you know if there is difference between CR-V and Element armtrests?
Thanx

I'll have to measure the 04 in the next day or so. It's outside and it is below zero degrees out there! (My 99 goes inside - it's out of warranty) I'll compare your pic to my 04 and report back, maybe even with a picture for you.

I am anxious to find out if this will work. I would prefer the '05, '06 style armrest in my '07 as they are a bit too narrow. Has anyone confirmed that the '06 rest will fit onto the '07 mount assembly? If so, this is a very easy mod and well worth the cost of the older style armrest.

Also, I am assuming that removal of the Passenger armrest is necessary for space between the seats as well?

Sorry for the delay. I removed the 04 armrest on our EX and took a pic. The distance between the 2 posts is 1.75" measured center to center (I didn't have anything to measure in mm)

I didn't think one had to remove the passenger armrest in order to install the larger driver's side one because... what would one do with the hole left in the fabric?

Well, I guess you would want to cover the hole in some fashion but the wide '06 version armrest would cover the hole anyway (at least along the side of the armrest). This, of course, is assuming that the '06 rest will not fit between the seats without removing the second armrest. ???

As to the picture, It differs from the pic above by bhw77. His pic shows a threaded opening where yours shows a pin and thread sticking out from the center of the base. Is this a problem for the '06 to '07 or are they both then same?

From this picture, the passenger armrest stays on.
(thanks to Handa) It does say that saddle has been discontinued and it is now only available in black.

The problem is that you either cannot return armrest if it does not fit either have to pay 20% "restocking fee".
Who is the bravest one and willing to risk $25-30 to try?

In 2RedV's picture this thing looks like assembly which would have to be removed.

Hi ~ A couple of questions about the 2007 V EX-L--I wondered if it has front arm rests but now I think I know that answer, and I would like to know what is "wrong" w/ them?? Also, is there a fold-down front console? And a quickie on tires. Someone mentioned that the original tires make for a rough ride b/c they are intended for some off-road use. Any comments and/or thoughts on replacement-at-purchase tires? Thanks so much!! Pamela

I'd love to get a saddle armrest for my 2003, but I keep reading they only make black. Anyone know where I can get one at a REASONABLE price (not $320 from a clown on eBay)...

Bet bet is call some of the larger, on-line dealers and see if they have any saddle stock left. You can also try your local dealer to see if they have one too.
I am always amazed at how many parts I can find for my older muscle-car projects at dealerships even though GM, Ford, etc. state the part is discontinued and no longer stocked.

I am so lusting for that style armrest! I don't like the '07 armrests either. Neither me nor my wife can really use them. They are too close in and not long enough for us. We've thought about rigging some kind of extension for them, or maybe even a kind of "hammock" arrangement that would slip over both armrests and have a fabric area in the middle between the seats that we could share.

Does the 07 Beige leather/vinyl match the saddle color? It doesn't look like it does. If not, maybe the black could be covered with a matching vinyl at an upholstery shop?

An auto upholstery shop could easily do that for you.

i sent an e-mail to the company asking if the armrest would fit the 07 model and the answer is no.
