Recommended PSI for 2008 CRVgjkiii 10-19-2008, 07:25 PM I know the door recommends cold 30 PSi but I can I put more in there or am i asking for trouble? Thanks. MarkyMark 10-19-2008, 07:57 PM I've been running 32 psi for a while now. Can't really tell the difference. ROMAN 10-20-2008, 12:02 AM Same here, maintaining 32 psi all around as recommended. But your right cant tell the difference...:D sollybro 10-20-2008, 03:42 AM Im running 37 PSI and vs 30, its a noticeable difference in both ride quality and fuel economy. Ride quality goes down, and fuel economy goes up. pepollock 10-20-2008, 01:41 PM Why not stick with the recommended 30 psi? And don't forget that's "cold"; pressure goes up as the tire heats up. BTW, "cold" pressure drops as outside temps go down in the winter, so check pressures often. Too hard a tire (pressure too high) risks damage to the tire from stones and sharp edges (like potholes), and stresses suspension parts. Too soft (low pressure) risks damage to the wheel rim and tire sidewall from those same potholes, and hurts cornering and braking. Why not stick with the recommended 30 psi? | |
