Does anybody have fuel economy figures for a 2.0 Auto Exec. I am only getting around 20mpg urban and 30.2mpg extra urban (30.2mpg based on a round trip of 80 miles of motorway driving on a dry Sunday afternoon with cruise control set at 70mph) . Compared with the figures published in the sales brouchure 42mpg extra urban, I am slightly dissapointed. I know that published figure are calculated over 7km on an indoor rolling road, but over 25% reduction is a bit excessive isn't it?
Anybody with fuel figures to compare would be good. I have tried looking up road tests on the internet but most are done with either diesel models or manual gearboxes. If anyone finds a road test with an automatic gearbox, please let me know.
