The external aesthetic of the 2009 Honda CR-V mixes the Honda Civic's space-age design with the face and bulk of a bulldog. Although you may never catch us calling the CR-V attractive, its looks aren't offensive. More importantly, spend some time behind the wheel and you'll see that the CR-V manages to combine the sporty ride and handling of a small sedan with the utility of a small SUV while making few, if any, compromises.

Like the blind date your friend is trying to fix you up with, the CR-V has a great personality. Beautiful? No. Pretty? No again. Ugly or homely? Still no. Unusual and unique? Yeh, that's it. Kinda grows on you, too. No one-night stand, she demands long-term commitment.

Interestingly, some of the CR-V styling rubbed-off on the new Insight. Check out the front end. Kind of a sleeker CR-V. Same with the profile. I think the new Insight styling is a cross between a CR-V and a Prius.

Disclaimer: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." "To each his own." etc.
I think the current Accord is awful (wifey likes it). The new Mazda 6 is very nicely designed, and I wonder why Honda of America can't/doesn't come up with a really nice looking Accord. And don't get me started on the Acura TL. Eeesh! So the CR-V is a wonderful car and I plan on keeping mine for a long, long time. I'm committed (or ought to be)

I to love the honda for its looks, it drives great, but un-fortunately Ive had a top of the range one for just over two years and Im afraid were getting divorced !!!

Like all good love affairs I want it to burn in hell !!

The satnav has just given me its last wrong direction, it must have been programmed by 5 year olds, it is utter rubbish along with the voice activated bluetooth phone system tat can only dial the numbers 0 and 7.

I carry around with me a tomtom and have to pick up my fone when driving as the honda is just too crap !!!

The car itself is great, If I could have a new diesel auto, but have an audi garage put their bluetooth kit and satnav in, or the VW put their parking stuff in, Id snap it up....

Alas Honda although they think they do, dont do customer satisfaction, dont give good service. I just spoke to a saleman at Trident Honda who actually told me to get a low spec one and he knews a guy for another £1,500 could put a clarion satnav in......

DOnt worry, I'll buy a decent car from a manufacturer who treats us better and who builds quality !!
