Steering wheel audio control adapter

Has anyone installed one of these? I'm thinking about getting one because I don't want to lose my steering wheel controls. From what i've read they can be a little hard to program but then again i'm somewhat "tech savvy" and I don't know the level of competence among the reviews i've read.

the first one is the one I use all the time. Wireing it up isnt bad, but the instructions take reading them multiple times to get the programming right. Once it's done, it's like, that was easy, but while your doing it, your like, WTF this sucks.
