Lately on my V, when i turn off my rear wiper it doesn't go all the way back down, staying on the window. It isn't more than a few inches up on the glass and usually after engaging/disengaging the wiper it goes all the way down but it is still annoying to have to do this almost every single time now. Any idea on how to fix this?

I thought there was a TSB for this but it is for the 06 and 07 models. Here it is anyhow, maybe it will give you an idea.

Welcome to the club, and good luck with your wiper repair.

EDIT: Ignore this TSB, I missed the fact that it was the rear wiper.

The issue is the Cr-v itself, on my 02 it does this on the front windshield too, it sticks about an inch up instead of going back down. Make sure the rear hatch glass is closed all the way, and it helps if the window is actually wet. I haven't figured out what's wrong with the wiper motors, but I assume they aren't actually powerful enough to move the wiper down on dirty glass or with little friction.

Thanks guys! Yeah I figured it might be a motor problem as this just came about recently. For now I don't need to replace the motor, but just have to be careful and looking before opening the rear glass.

Just an update, went to autozone to replace the rear blade and *doh!* the last person to change it put one on a few inches to big! Put on the right sized one and now even with a dry windshield the wiper goes down without getting stuck.
