34253-671-003 BULB (12V8W) (DAIICHI)
These are the Honda part numbers since the owner's manual does not give the bulb number. You should remove one of the bulbs and take it in for comparison.
It is shown as 8 watts and 12 volts.
Dennis
let me know if you find them, i would like to do the same!

Well everyone, I ordered the blue LED lights from http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm I got 2 types. Two 4led per bulb and three 9led per bulb. I bought the 1 extra bulb just in case there to bright or to dim. I'll take a picture of the interior with the new lights if they all work.:D

Wow,
The lights look awesome! I swapped out my dome lights with PIAA Extreme White T-6’s and am quite happy with the results. I never thought about changing the map lights, but after seeing your photos, I would definitely consider doing the same. Can you tell which model of LED’s will work for the map lights and how to take off the cover to access the bulbs?
I tried changing over my exterior lights with LED’s but was very disappointed with the outcome and went back to filament bulbs, but the brighter ones by PIAA.
Much appreciated!

The model number is 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb. Those are the map and dome, the cargo area is one of my left over 3022-x4 LED Festoon bulbs. Both seem very close to the same brightness. Take a flat screwdriver and just pry the map lights open. VERY EASY. But be careful the plastic things holding it in there are weak and mine started to bend.

Excellent move! Using LED's (of any color) in place of the stock dome lights more or less ensures that even if you leave the dome lights on for hours, you will not run down the battery. It is amazing how little juice they use.

Hey guys, just installed some blue leds into the dome and cargo area light. Haven't done the map lights yet cause the bulbs were too HOT!
just curious, with the 9 LED bulb, it looks like a big ball of blue led light at the center of the light. Is it the same for the 4 LED light? The big ball of blue led light looks awkward to me for some reason, and doesn't look like the factory lighting that just kind of blends into the car...? (if that makes sense?)

Can you take a night picture and post it? I wondered if that would happen. I have a 4 led one in my 99 and it just gently glows. Looks neat, but unfortunately, it doesn't give off enough light.

Hey guys I'm back. I figure I'd give u my back story so you know why I did the lights. My friend has a Scion car and has connections with his club. So I go to this local garage just like people do in the movies. Since the last time I posted I got 22% window tints in the front and a radar detector Hard wired into the car.
In the future I'd like to
1. upgrade the rear speakers- recommendations anyone?
2. LED tube lighting for interior
3. Light blue Fog lights
4. Maybe a Sub woofer (might be fun)
My garages installation prices are sweet. (total price with parts)
Blue Lights Free (easy and free-I did those with flathead screwdriver)
Tints for front windows $60
Hard wire radar $25
Sweet Deals when you know people!

What kind of radar detector you get?? I'm interested in getting one but have no clue on which to get and its hard to find info on which ones are good...
I also ordered the LEDS for my car, any tips/instructions on how to approach removing the light panel, I don't wanna damage it.

The covers for the maplights easily pop off with that screwdriver and the best radar detector website is radarbusters.com or try going to amazon.com and find the best sellers.

Are the map lights and dome lights the same in the 2005 CR-V? Also, what about the light in the back of the vehicle?

The dome light and the rear hatch light are the same. The map lights in the forward overhead console use a different bulb (wedge base #194). Any auto parts store will have both types of bulbs.

So let me get this straight. The Map Lights are 194 Bulb and the Dome and Rear hatch are 1157 Bulb? And I'm going to need 2 of each?

Dome lights do NOT use an 1157 bulb.

I am looking for LED lights. I usually use those numbers for a base when i search for LED. They usually say something like ....replaces 1157 or whatever. I think i'm confusing myself.
