Hi Everyone!
First post. Just wanted to introduce myself. Awesome site with alot of great info!
Wife and I just went out shopping for our new suv. We checked out of course the CRV, Subaru Forester, and for kicks and giggles the RDX.
CRV: We totally underestimated this vehicle. Not sure what the older models were like, but the 07 CRV is SOOO functional and classy. Roomy, adjustable rear seats, usable 2 level cargo area,leather, navi, etc...list goes on and on. WOW is one word to put it. We haven't test driven it *yet*, but so far we like what we see.
Subaru Forester: Interior still very nice on the XT limited model, but to ->me<- a notch below the CRV. The only thing that tops the CRV is under the hood.
RDX: hehe...this was just silly for us. I won't lie, the car was very NICE. Handsome interior/exterior, turbo engine, but just not for us...especially the price. Much of the "functional" features we found on the CRV is gone on the RDX....a disappointment to us.
We are leaning towards a black 07 CRV EX-L AWD w/ NAVI. How are the prices for the CRV going nowadays? Are dealerships being a bit more flexible now? I hope so.
