Has any one remapped their diesel CRV with either an add on box or changed the chip on the ecu.?
if so what differences did you find in mpg and performance.
The reason I ask is that i went for a test drive in a 2009 2.2ctdi ex at the weekend and at 70mph on the motorway it only averaged 34mpg (uk).
I really need to get around the 38-40mpg at motorway speeds. Perhaps some one could tell me if it will get better as the motor beds in? The test car had only done 130mls.
even better if some one could tell what the mpg is at:
60mph
70mph
80mph
I have found this forum full of really usefull info, The rest of the car was really good with the sat nav and the very comfy leather seats. The colour was the fantastic Milano red.
However as I do around 22,000mls a year I need to be sure its not going to break the bank on the fuel side as I have to pay my own fuel costs.
