Anyone have any advice on the best way to keep it protected and looking new?

I am using the Miguirres (can't spell) leather wipes....seem to be doing a good job. Takes a while though because if you miss a place it shows. I am curious to see what others are using as well.

I use Meguiars Cleaner & Conditioner wipes also, then buff with towel, works for me

I've had great success maintaining my other vehicle leathers as well as my furniture with Connolly (aka Hide Food) and with the Lexol line. I have also heard great things about Leatherique, though I've never used it

Lexol leather care products are suppose to be one of the best. It's what I use on my leather seats in my BMW.

Lexol cleaner and conditioner here (as most Honda dealer service departments recommend)

lexol, connelly and griots products all good. Anything is better then nothing! Be sure and clean first and get a good brush (such as a horse hair one) to clean deep into the pores and stitching. Test all leather care products in an inconspicuous area first as they may change the color of the leather. Keep some towels and matching wipes in the car for those little spills here and there.

Leatherique is fabulous stuff if your leather has dried and you're patient. Lexol in the trigger squirt bottle isn't bad either.

Gliptone has a nice cleaner and separate conditioner that I have found to be very good on leather that is already soft, and it has an amazing aroma. I use a sponge to apply it and keep the sponge in a ziplock bag between uses so it doesn't dry out.

Most of the less expensive automobile leathers have been surface sealed to such a degree that they are slow to absorb cleaner/conditioners, and you can almost get away with just wiping with a damp cloth - just about treat them like vinyl. I have a couple of British cars with Connolly interiors and they react quite differently to the leather used in the Jetta I had.

x2 for the Griots and Lexol products!!!!

I used to use Lexol on my CL but I favor the Griots product now, it is amazing stuff!

About once a month sounds right especially if you park in the sun and the inside is getting baked all day or if you have alot of passenger traffic as it does wear off.
