Does anyone know if it is wise or even possible to lower my 1st gen crv...? i morely want to know if it is possible whether i need to cut my coils or a lowering kit can be bought?

It's possible. I have seen pics of lowered 1st gens. Try nopi.com for coilover kits or even Summit Racing. Summit has a lot more than their web site lists. Call them.
