nothing is working, we have fire agencies from surrounding states, there were 3 fires going on in my county, then like 30 miles away there was 2 more, one has taken up like 20,000 acres, over 100 homes were destroyed, and hundreds more with considerable damage, its been a few days now, the fires started one earth day, of all days. its done billions in damage.

We have a lot of fires in town, but all caused by 12 year olds running into large fields to play with lighters. Then 7 people's house burns down... and the kids always get caught. This has happened about 5 times in the last 2 years. Then we had the fires in California a little while back, never saw any of it near us, but Crockett across the river lights fire about once a year.

b.t.w. this was started by some couple burning trash, they got cited for allowing a flame to reach an others property

Wow those are some nasty fires. Looks a lot like Roman's territory. Hope they get them under control and you get back to normal down there.

It's good that those firefighters came to point at the fire and say "no" "bad fire" otherwise you'd have been toast.:(

Ditto but I hink that you should build a moat:D
The worst fire that we had here was the tire fire on the opposite side of town where I live at the time. The wharehouse had about 5X as many tires as he was allowed to have. There was black smoke all around the south part of town.

AN Entire Big-O tires lit fire in our town after they fired an employee- an investigation by us indicated that he "fired" them back. Stupid.
That, and a big foam packing warehouse lit fire and made a giant napalm something that flew into the air, there was little balls of firey foam floating in the air all over town. Scary.

Hi Chris
I have not been on here for a long time
I am now in Hilton Head
I got a call from a friend in the Northeast the other day and he said
"how far are you from the fires?" so I think it is getting a fair amount of coverage
my new v is going fine
hope all is well
