Hi
over the last 3 weeks of owning my new crv i have had oil leaks ,car is in the dealers now and they have told me the car needs a new block and head ,i was told there is a problem with the oil holes in the block and cylinder head ,(there was a problem in the factory with the machine when the holes were drilled so say honda uk )...has anyone else heard of the problem as im thinking of rejecting the car its 20 days old and been in the garage 3 times with leaks also has anyone rejected a car from honda ...

Get rid of the car. If they're replacing the block and the head, that's pretty much the whole engine - I'd give that car back to them somehow and let them deal with that garbage of an issue of a car, and see if they give you a different Cr-v.

That's rediculous.

yes, try to get rid of that car, that's horrible, you should not have to pay a cent for their problem.

BRentwood is about a 40 minute drive for me. That car you have needs to go. That's not fair to you. Having to replace an engine in 20 days just signals future problems.

I think some Europe members have reported engine oil leaks on brand new CR-Vs but can't recall comments on major engine issues like yours.
Do a search.

X2.....get rid of that car ASAP
