Hi everybody! Proud new owner of a 2007 Black/black 4WD EX-L with Navi! However....I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem as me. I've been hearing a rattle from my rear seat, especially when going over bumps and I think I isolated it to the center rear seat. I can reproduce the noise only when the middle section (with the cupholder) is all the way up by hitting the headrest. I thought it was the plastic cup holder hitting the plastic seat back, but now I'm not so sure. Can someone else try this and see if you get a rattling noise, or has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated!

anyone with a EX-L having this issue? I ended up putting a piece of velcro (the soft part) right above the indentation in the center rear plastic part (with the arm rest down) and that's eliminated the rattle and I guess I should go and get this checked out but I was wondering if anyone else was hearing the rattle over bumps. Thanks!

Mine did, but was the stupid right strap (when you fold the seat up against the front seats) that came out of the 'pouch' and was banging the hard plastic next to it.
I wouldn't waste time taking your car for something like that. I just let my wife drive and found it in a second (didn't know about those pouches). Best way to eliminate those kinds of rattles is with felt with adhesive backing, kind of the one used for cabinets so they don't bang wood against wood when closed. Glad you found it. My car is rattle free so far, but only 250 miles. And more importantly, oil-leak free (whew!). Later.

thanks for the help, ELP_JC! I dont mind the felt/adhesive fix, but just seems weird for it to happen. I'll mention it to the dealer but won't get too upset if they can't do anything about it since the fix works. Enjoy the new V!
