One of the best games... OCarina of time was good, and Majora's mask was not as good but okay. I've strayed from Nintendo because they haven't made anything worth owning. We have a PS3 and a XBOX360, an N64, and a Gamecube, so you ca talk games with me all you want, I'll know what you're talking about.

majoras mask was not to my likings, but ocarina of time was amazing, it was the title of 99' game of the year, but it deserves more. i use to have a ps2 but i sold it

Majora's mask wanted you to put in that stupid thing into the n64 remember? it was some kind of bigger processor or memory or something, you know waht I'm talking about? It was a cheap way to make you pay$50 extra just to play one game.

The only Zelda games that I haven't played were the first and second NES ones, Oricana of time (But my sister has it for GBC), and majoras mask.

I like the nintendop games because they seem more intuitive than PSwhatever and XBOX just my take though. I was thinking of downloading Oricana of time and majoras mask to my Wii. I got a DS instead of a PSP because the games that wre availible for the PSP were sold as PS2 as well.

Although I have 2 PS2's:D and I love to play GT4 on them.

Dude, Wii is a crappy console that I would throw away if someone gave it to me for free. The contols are twitchy, and they force you to hold your arm towards the screen so you look like you're constantly pointing at what you're playing, and after a while, it physically hurts your arm - and you look for ways to rest it on your leg or something, and then you fail.... The graphics are terrible, and look like N64 junk. They port good games like Call Of Duty, and turn them into horrible games somehow, and I've played everything on it worth playing and was dissatisfied.

Red Steel: Looked like a cool game where you shoot stuff and use a samurai sword, so you should swing the nunchuck all over the place and just slice that sword everywhere! Right? Right? Wrong. YOu have to wait for someone to attack you, guard, then hit, then guard, then hit - doesn't matter if you swing your sword like a madman, the wii does not care. Also, you hold the gun like a gangster (sideways) no matter how hard you keep the remote steady, and it makes all the shots fly sideways... So you have to twist your wrist almost upside down to play... and the story was attrocious.

Mario Galaxy: Played a lot like Mario 64, so that was okay, till they integrated the motion sensor, and wiggling the remote every time you want to attack. AHHH! QUick, break your wrist with twitcheS! now aim at stuff, just when you were comfortable playing, get up and attempt to get the cursor to stay on the screen for more than half-a-second.

Some Driving Game: I played some driving game, no idea what it's called, but you used the Wii liek a steering wheel, and you just go into a fishtail, and then you fishtail back and wind up going liek snake through the whole track... since the wii mote is twitchy and doesn't understand the gentleness of your turning, so you turn the game off.

Wii was directed to the same group of people that bought the Wii-fit and belive that leaning side to side, is some form of excercise worth $100 or more... observe:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iYBmAVuBns&feature=PlayList&p=8CEC963524B4890A&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=48

Now, PS3 has the same motion controls, except they work, really well, and I have played aviation sims, and flying games, and driving games with the yolk or steering control. Flawless motion, and it reacts to gentleness.

Xbox360-great graphics... great games. Full online capability to download any Sega Genesis, Nintendo or any old games you want, and the only decent online working multiplayer. Nuff said about that (it's my favorite)

And when GT5 comes out for PS3... ooooo... it's going to be good.

007 Quantom of solace is a great FPS if you have the rifle. Star warz the force unleashed is a good hack and slash game where the remote reads how you slice so you can stab, uppercut, and dismember people.

super mario galaxy sucked and so did red steel. and transformers because you had to point at the screen and you arm hurt like hell afterward. But the newwr games are good.

as for fishtailing racing games the only one that I had problems was Indy 500 legends the others you could turn it off and use the joystick to steer. I wouldn't buy a 360 but a PS3 may be in the futuer for me

I have beaten Zelda on my Nintendo DS. Best portable console imho. And a zelda game where I'm a pirate on the high seas!? Fire canons!

The xbox360, ps3, and wii are all good. Any console that can play Guitar Hero and Rockband is good in my books.

As for racing, Wacky Wheels on the good 'ole PC was the best.

two pages deep into a thread titled "Zelda Video Games" and no one even mentions "A Link to the Past"? How's that even possible?

Serj22
05-27-2009, 02:23 PM
A link to the past! Great game. I played the hell out of that when I had a super nintendo. I had the gold cartridge and everything. Sadly, that system died on me...:( ANd Forza Motorsport 2 is the best racing game ever to date. You can literally customize ANY car any way you want. It's great. And the art system using only decals is great. You get 1,000 layers to use, but only triangles, squares and circles... with the layering and shading people can make some pretty cool stuff. I'm not the best at it, but some people out there are dealing cars in the online auction house with pretty realistic people on them and stuff.

Of course you get your does of people painting porn on a car and people buying them for over a billion credits and such, and of course you can sell your designs in the game, or on the cars, and includes way more physics adjustements than GT4, and you can actually install different bumpers, wings, hoods, etc, rather than just adding a wing to everything like gt4.

Zelda Games I own:

...Super smash bros Melee... Link is in it?

electric V
05-28-2009, 10:41 PM
Super Smash Bros Brawl is way better than Melee. Except it took me 8 hrs. to finish the game on super easy mode (I just wanted all the characters) then 10hrs. to beat it on the 2nd hard mode. And story mode gets boring after a while. But the Nintendo Wi-Fi is awsome there is always people playing it.

I thought Snake would be cool on brawl... but he sucked. AS for MGS, I have all 4... HAHA! GreAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT games.

electric V

Snake was a bad player in brawl. Samus was weaker too. I don't have any MSG:( isn't there a MGS 5 comming out soon

Serj22
05-29-2009, 12:59 AM
MGS 4 was the last. Alas the Patriots were fallen, Zero dead, and Snake aging rapidly due to being a clone of big boss, who he killed in Zanzibarland, but was not Big Boss, but a clone, Solidus, who's remains were treasured to copy his DNA to re-create the perfect soldier. Alas Snake was cloned of big boss when Big Boss was in his 50's so Snake started life with 50 year old traits, and looks like he's 80, though he is only 30...

The story line in MGS all the way through is the best thing ever. My favorite games of all time. They even broke the 4th wall of gaming which was fun. One of the characters in the original was a psychic and he tells you he's going to show you his power, and to set the controller on the ground, and then he would move it with his mind...:D The controller's vibrate function turns on... it's great and the control moves around, then he "reads into your past" and looks through all the games on your memory card and reads the games aloud. It's funny.

Then he blacks out the screen and it says "S-Video" in the corner like a TV error, and then repositions himself in the room while you can't see. Then so he can't read your mind (since he predicts your gunshots and dodges them) you have to plug the controller into controller port 2 so he can't read it. It was an amazing playthrough game, all of them were.

electric V
05-29-2009, 01:32 AM
that psychic sounds hillarious. There is something like that on the Wii. But nintendo checks all games that you've played for over an hour then it recommends stuff for you. I have it turned on and every now and again it pulsates to let you know its thinking.

I might buy a PS3 because I heard the price will drop $100 next month and I need a blueray player.

Serj22
05-29-2009, 01:47 AM
I got my ps3 for free from my brother. Buy the 360. Ps3 has really short games only and only about 5 games worth playing, 360 has over 300 maybe even 1,000 games by now, and the price is lower. Blue-Ray isn't worth it when you're paying $30 for a movie...

Got my single monitor flat panel, and the Hanging flat panel for the computer's 2nd monitor (use the main flat panel for everything, as well as PC) Klipsch THX movie Theater sound, and Sony Surround with Technics Receiver. Oh yeah, and a black futon thing that clicks, and is more like a couch! Hooray! and I do all my forum-ing on my Alienware MX15 notebook, also a lot of computer gaming as well, but I leave it mostly on the Coffee table, or as I like to call "my desk," I didn't want all my gaming stuff in the living room though, otherwise if the supreme one wanted to watch TV or something, and I wanted to play videogames- well, we'd have a conflict of interest... so I shoved everything into half-a-closet of our guestroom, I'd say I did a fairly good job. Only people that ever stayed in there was one of my friend's and then a while ago the wifey's buddy, but that's it...

X2 but I hate the re-deads (they are not so hard to fight in Oricana of Time) They take for ever to kill but it is funny to see them fall over and die. They are harder to fight in Windwaker because there is a level where you have to go into a mausoleum and there are Stalfos that run around and the Re-Deads come out of the caskets in the walls so you ca nget swarmed pretty easily.

I have the first Vigilante 8 for PS1 it is a great game way better than twisted metal. Although the only twisted metal game I have is Small Brawl.

hey have any of you guys seen or heard this. I will get one if they have it out soon.

XBOX 360 has always had the no controller camera thing. I use it to play Rayman Raving Rabids. In order to do the dancing minigames you literally have to dance in front of the screen and it shows a star outline of your body. How it recognizes that you are a person and not scenery is way beyond me... PS3 also has the motion sensor, Wii only just thought they were being original.

the Nintendo dsi can put you in the game literaly. I have a soccer game and you can add your face onto a player a team flag or the ball. and there is a wario ware game where it copies your face and uses it as a shadow and you have to swat flies with your hands and do ather similar tasks with your head. then it makes a movie of what you were doing.

Serj22
06-06-2009, 08:09 PM
And if you guys can find it: Vigilante 8, Second Offense - Upgradable cars and time travel, as well as an Alien who drives a garbage truck that's special weapon is putting a car in the back and crushing it. I used to do that and right when you were about to eject the car from the back of the truck, I'd park it next to a hazard so they would fly out into that and take more damage.
