Has anyone here installed 'em yet?
I checked them out on a dealer website. No drilling required, factory look, but they seem a little short, and only available for the front.
Do they keep the road guk off of the lower cladding/rocker panels?

Hello. I put them on. Not too difficult. They work. For ~$35, how can you go wrong? The back comes with mud flaps.

My 07 CRV had the mud guards installed by the dealership prior to my purchase. I have had the CRV for about a month and have noticed that the guards do a pretty good job of keeping the lower side clean of dings from road debris. There is a fair amount of dirt on the inside portion that faces the wheel, which is a sign of keeping the dirt off of the car. So far, I am happy with the splash guards.

I just ordered some. I'll let you know what I think once they arrive and I get them on.

Are there 2 types of front mudguards? The OEM ones I ordered are hard plastic. I was in the dealers parts dept. recently and I saw ones that were OEM soft rubber.

When I bought my V they were already installed on the front. They are too short to really be effective. They keep a minimal amount off of the bottom cladding, just a few inches behind the guard they do nothing.

I just added them myself because I noticed ice buildup the last time we had some snow. I got a good deal at H & A (they currently have them on sale for $25) but was also a bit disappointed at how short they are. I'm curious to see how they'll do the next time it snows.

We just recently had a nice ice then snow event, the splash guards really didn't do much. They are good at collecting the snow and slush between the guard and the tire making wheel well stalactites.
As I had mentioned before our V had them installed when delivered, I would have installed anyway to match the rears.

Back in the 70's, they used to be called fenderbergs in Pittsburgh. After a good heavy snow followed with a cold snap, the roads could be littered with gigantic damaging fenderbergs. I remember the news asking people to knock off the fenderbergs before driving to prevent navigational hazzards on the Parkway.

Two exact reasons why I didn't install the small splash guards on my V.
fenderbergs and stalactites.;)
