Any members out there from Nova Scotia?
Anyone know any decent off-road spots in NS that the V can handle?

Yes, Morden on the lovely Bay of Fundy -- opposite Aylesford.
I wouldn't toss my '98 V into the bush or sand because it's my daily driver. I don't want it hurt.
However, there is a very active off-road club in Middleton and they have trails all thru the valley in this area. I see muddy Jeeps and Bronco's on the back roads all the time. :)
PS: Where are you?

I live in Dartmouth, so there is nothing in the city. My parents also have a cottage near Sheet harbour, so i am hoping I can find some trails out that way.

Just remember; the CR-V is not an off-road vehicle. It's a AWD road machine so you could hurt it with off-road activities. We don't want that, now do we?
Sheet Harbour -- Hmmm. You could try the CR-V on the shore
We have a road (sort of) to the shore but I still wouldn't punish my car on those rocks. On the South side of the Bay of Fundy the sand grains are about a foot across.

I don't want to do anything serious, because like you, it is my daily driver as well. But some sand or mud would be fun. Kind of an excuse to get the AWD working. A beach would be perfect but usually they are blocked off so you can't drive on them... as far as I know, but I should go look. I would just rather not do something illegal. :S
