Fix flat tire

I'm wondering if I will mess up tpms if I remove the tire of out the rim to fix the flat. there's a nail on the tire and I don't know if I have to take it to Honda or I can just take it to any repair shop to patch it. Please advise, thank you

Any competent tire shop can fix it. I carry a $3 tire plug kit in each vehicle I own just in case. Saved me a few times over the years. You don't even have to remove the tire from the wheel to use one. I also have a mini-compressor in vehicle. Doesn't add more than a couple of pounds total.

No, the sensor just sits inside the wheel.
