When I plug my music player (Creative Brand) into the Aux audio jack, the level is very low?? I crank the volume on the player to max, then the volume on the CRV audio system to "20" before I get a reasonable volume?? When using the player with normal headphones, the volume is fine... Wondered is others have the same problem??
yup. noticed the same thing. i tried connecting a creative, an ipod and a zune. they all needed a little more boost in volume to have the same volume as the cd and radio. i did notice that the zune needed less boost than the others so it may also be related to the player? i was using a clarion equalizer in my previous vehicle and this had an aux in jack as well. i also needed to raise the volume when i used the same mp3 players

I have seen some other posts on this and there was either a solution or cause but I don't recall which or what.
(not that this post helps you either...)
I have a Belkin adaptor on my Ipod for my EX-L. This plugs into the dock connector and has an adjustment on the adaptor which allows you to boost (or cut) the input level to your liking- here is a link to the Belkin part I used-

I can switch from CD or radio without touching the volume.
On the Navi models each input has a volume memory so that's not a problem. I think my Element had volume memory on the Aux input as well.
