First Fender Bender

I knew it was a matter of time before it was to happen. Better me driving than someone else I guess. I backed outta my garage...oblivious to the fact that my boyfriend had parked in my little turn around spot. I rubbed up against his car with my back passanger panel. I heard a crackling sound as I pulled back up.....I am guessing the plastic popping back into place. All it did was leave some black scuff marks....which didn't really show on the black paint...and scratched the plastic fender thingy a little. The scuff marks came out when I waxed it...thank goodness. Let's hope that this is the worst thing that happens to it....lol. I will tell ya though...when I saw that I had hit another car I got this horrible sick feeling in the pit of my stomach......

Well, as with any accident no matter how minor, the main thing is that your OK.

The vehicle can always be replaced as I learned last December. My beloved '95 Del Sol was totalled when I was hit from behind in a multi-car accident. Noone was hurt thank goodness but I had to watch them tow it away after 225,000 care free miles of greatness knowing it was done for. :( I'm sure it would have broken 300,000 easy but alas...

Of course, this did lead me to purchase my shiny new '07 CRV-LX which, I must say, has healed the wounds nicely. :D
