I'm new to this forum and live in Napa. I'm curious about others' buying experience from Bay Area dealers. I'm interested in 4WD EX-L with nav. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Indeed, I am interested in price for this model. What have you been offered?

I recently purchased LX 2WD, not 4WD. sorry.
The lowest quote came from the Fairfield Honda (Steve Hopkins Honda). Since it is quite far from my place, I picked mine up at El Cerrito.

Which dealership? Is this for a 2010 model?

Hi All,

I Just bought (in Dec 2009) 2010 Honda CRV EX-L 4WD w/ Navi - Crystal black pearl with black inside from Fairfield Honda, they seemed to be giving the best deals around (at least that's what I felt).

I paid 28200/= including destination fee, my taxes is 9.75% so total came to 31,500/=.

This seems to be below what edmund's quoted as invoice price, way below what it had as true market value. Plus it was very hard to get a black cr-v as there were just 2-3 in all of California/Nevada, and who ever had it was quoting high prices.

Plus I wanted to take advantage of the 2.9% apr Honda was offering till end of Dec only.

So not sure if I paid too much or what, so folks please share your experiences.

Worst part was it had continental tires on it, not sure if these are good, I preferred Bridgestone or michelin etc, but dealer refused to change he said this is what comes from company. (I wasn't happy but I bought the car anyways.)

Also am not sure if Navi is worth the extra 1-2k $s, after buying it now I realized the navi is not the latest one, it doesn't speak the street names, it doesn't show traffic info etc.

I am hoping I made right choice!! or not sure if I got conned!!!
