Has anyone tried to put newer Mustang Bullitt wheels on? I am looking at a set of 17 x 8 backspacing 5.72 inches and an offset of +30mm. I am going to reuse the OEM 225 x 65 17 tires. Does any one know if they would rub anywhere.
I had an 18 x 9 on and it looked good on the car but it was a bare wheel. The 18 x 9 did not stick out past the body.
The original crv wheels are 17 x 6.5 backspacing 5 7/8 offset +50mm.
it looks like the extra 1.5 inches would all be in the outside lip of the rim.
Any help would be appreciated.

I checked with my fitment department and it looks like that set up should work on the 07+ CR-V without any issues. The recommended offset range on an 8" wide wheel is +18mm to +64mm and the 225/65-17 size has been approved as the maximum application for an 8" wide wheel.

How would this wheel work on previous generation CR-V's?

For the previous generation's, the lowest recommended offset on an 8" wide wheel is +45mm. The wheel in the OP has a +30mm offset meaning it will stick out slightly past the fenders on the earlier models.

Hey thanks for the info. This opens a lot of options up for me Im not a big fan of the fwd looking wheels. I thought it would work but all I had was my tape measure that 18 x 9 and the math made sense. It's nice to have some confirmation before I purchase 4 wheels and can not return them...
Thanks..
I think I attached a photo of the 18 x 9
